Ten Top Transport Tips
Our helpful hints should you need them.
1. Everything in the city centre is within walking distance - it just depends how much time and energy you have got.
2. Trams tend to be quicker than buses.
3. Always buy a ticket for the trams as there are regular inspections.
4. Trams shut before closing so they won't be around for your trip back to your bed!
5. Taxis can be expensive with heavy traffic.
6. At the end of your night out use manned taxi ranks - there will be a queue but it's quicker.
7. Always check fares in taxis before you go anywhere to avoid high fees and unlicenced taxis.
8. Why use pay buses when there is a free shuttle bus service.
9. Check out transport info for your planned visits so you're well in the know.
10. Check our website before you come for news on any disruption.

Manchester Comedy Festival
Following closely on the heels of the very successful Food and Drink festival the Manchester Comedy Festival is yet another big hitter in the festival line up Manchester consistently manages to deliver for all its residents and visiting Stags and Hens.
For the last ten days there have been shows at theatres, clubs, bars and even the odd pub to enjoy from big name comedians like Michael Mcintyre, Rhod Gilbert or the always funny Jimmy Carr. A good smattering of local up and coming comedians always makes for a good festival as well and this year didn't disappoint with local comedians Justin Moorhouse and Jason Cook
Stags up for a bit of controversial humour would have enjoyed Tim Jeffries at the Royal Exchange theatre with Hens wanting a bit of dry humour would have enjoyed Jimmy Carr at the Manchester Apollo. Then of course there was the man of the moment - Michael Mcintyre and like him or loath him Stag and Hen Manchester can testify that you will always walk away with a smile on your face having had a good evening seeing him live at the MEN Arena.
And remember Stag and Hen Manchester offer the best of Manchester's comedy scene all year round from as little as £30 per person to include entry into a top Manchester comedy club and a pizza and drink for each stag or hen in the group. It always starts off any stag or hen party in the right mood to split your sides laughing for a few hours before you hit the town and Manchester is certainly no different! Visit www.stagandhenmanchester.co.uk and look for Comedy Evening in the activities section for further details or get in touch with us now on 0161 223 0417.
