Things to Do
To ensure you have a fabulous time the information below sets out what Stag and Hen Manchester regard as some of the best places to go and fun things to do in Manchester. Things to Do1. The Manchester Wheel
Situated in Exchange Square in the Millenium Quarter is Manchester's answer to the London Eye without the queues - "The Manchester Wheel" . With 42 capsules that seat 8 people each and a VIP capsule with champagne available for a ride, Stag and Hen Manchester would definitely recommend this as an activity to fit into your weekend as 60 metres up you will see 360 degree views of Manchester you will never get from ground level. Open from 10am in the morning until 11pm at night (midnight on Saturdays) and at £6.50 per person for a ride that will last on average about three whole rotations of the wheel, unless it.s cloudy this is a must. Check out the website www.worldtouristattractions.co.uk/wta_wheel_manchester.php or call 0161 831 9918 for tickets and information. 2. Cloud 23 bar
Situated on the 23rd floor of Manchester's tallest building the Beetham Tower which houses luxury appartments and the Hilton hotel, this bar has a unique location and a stylish ever changing ambience thanks to its floor to ceiling windows with views out across Manchester and its surrounds. The only way to access the bar is through an exclusive lift from the building's reception and this only adds to the prestigious feel. Its drinks although expensive are worth it as the cocktails are of the highest order of quality. Once you are inside and have a drink in your hand looking out over the skyline you will feel like you are in heaven. Please be aware though that entry requirements are strict and Stag and Hen Manchester CANNOT guarantee that you will be permitted entry. Entry is open to all from 5pm until 7pm following which access will be via guestlist only and is controlled via a seurity team at the foot of the elevator in the lobby. If you do want to try and attend, smart casual with no trainers is an absolute must and we would suggest trying to aim to be there as close to 5pm as you can be and if you are a large group splitting yourselves up as they will not be comfortable allowing entrance for groups over 20 in size. It is well worth a trip if you can afford the time. For full venue information check out their website at www.cloud23bar.com/index.php |
