Manchester Food and Drink
1. Chinatown

Everyone loves a good Chinese and Chinatown, centred around the Imperial Arch over Faulkner Street, can give you that as well as Cantonese and Pekingese and many more oriental styles of cooking besides.
2. The Curry Mile

The Curry Mile in Rusholme is one of the more popular gastronic experiences in Manchester. Stretching along Wilmslow Road just outside the city centre Rusholme is unique for its high concentration of eastern eateries. There are around 50 Asian restaurants, kebab houses and takeaways there offering Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi and Iranian delicacies.
3. Pub Food

Find real character and good honest pub grub in any of the many established traditional pubs in the city centre and wash it down with some of the finest real ale and other beers you can imagine for stag parties or the finest wine for the hen parties. Served alongside the friendly Mancunian hospitality you are guaranteed not to go wrong with pub grub.
4. Castlefield

More and more impressive eateries of all different styles of food have in the past few years begun to spring up in Castlefield to take advantage of the fabulous canal side locations available and the hundreds of affluent city professionals who now live in the area. So have a wander and see what takes your fancy.
5. Spinningfields

Just off the middle of Deansgate, Spinningfields is an area that has been completely rejuvenated into a series of American style piazzas where large chain eateries like Zizzi's and Cafe Rouge proliferate amongst offices and retail space. An ideal area in the middle of town well set up for larger groups.
6. Take Aways

Want to spend your money later and not on your meal? - well there are hundreds of take aways available throughout the city from chains like KFC and Burger King to Pizza Hut and your independent kebab houses and fish and chip shops. Stag and Hen Manchester can promise you won't have to walk very far to find something to get the job done!
Remember there are plenty of restaurant review sites available so get searching and you will find the right place. Our only suggestion if you plan to go to a restaurant is always ring up to check if they accept large groups and, if they do, book in to guarantee yourselves no problems.
