The Arndale Centre
Infamous for being the target of a 1996 IRA detonated bomb, the Arndale Centre has since been transformed with the help of a £150m development programme that sees it in its current impressive form today.

Situated only two minutes walk from Piccadilly Gardens, easily reachable from Market Street tram stop and with an adjacent 1450 space NCP operated car park off High Street, the Arndale Centre is convenient for those stags and hens that want a quick shopping fix. It has around 240 stores within its confines and is linked to the large Selfridges and Marks and Spencer stores by a footbridge.

Two information desks on the lower mall are staffed by friendly Arndale Centre staff (look for the red jackets) and they will help you with any queries or alternatively use the centre's plasma tv's self help stations to find answers to queries you might have.

Open until 8pm during the week and until 7pm Saturday and 6pm Sunday you can't fail to be able to find time should you get that shopping itch!
