Think Paintball but with a Bow and Arrow!

Love a bit of extreme action on a stag or hen party? Want a really competitive stag or hen activity but don't fancy the usual stag and hen activities like paintball? Well how's about a brand new adrenaline soaked activity called Battlezone Archery. Based on paintball this activity uses bows and specially designed round rubber tipped arrows in specially laid out gaming areas for stags and hens in Manchester to play main game play outlined below or where possible such games as "Capture the Flag" or "Kamikaze Run".

Battlezone Archery happens at outdoor sports centres close to the middle of Manchester and each session lasts one hour in total. Taken by experienced and friendly instructors it is a conveniently accessible, extreme adrenaline, value for money option for your Manchester stag or hen party.

On arrival at the centre you will be greeted by your instructors who will explain how the session will run before giving out the safety equipment of face mask, finger and arm guards (body protectors can be arranged if required) and then your specially designed bows and arrows. Following that they will start the game play. So how does gameplay work?

Battlezone Archery

Two teams of equal players face off across a purpose built field layout. Each team has 5 specially designed bunkers made by Boost Air®, 5 target cones that are placed in front of each bunker, each holding a ball. There are several objectives to the game. The scoring is very simple! You will get 30 points for an eliminated player and 50 points for a targeted cone. Each game will last for up to 10minutes, where the scores are added and teams swap ends

The two teams are separated by a neutral zone. If a player catches an arrow, they can bring one of their eliminated players back in to the game. The game ends when either, all team members are eliminated, all 5 cones have been hit or time runs out. The umpires have a scorecard for each game and will record the points. A match is made up of 5 games. If there are numerous teams, then it is run as matches where the winning team moves through to the next round, so there will be an eventual winner
