Fun, humour, relevance, shock value and perhaps even a touch of nostalgia...

..these are likely the things you’re looking for when you’re planning the group costumes for your stag do.

Well, get ready as I am going to give you 7 best stag group costumes that will certainly satisfy all the criteria above!

Starship Troopers

You will never forget the first time you saw Denise Richards on the big screen, and that is why you and your mates should absolutely dress up as Starship Troopers at the stag party. Throw on some slime and fake blood for an even better effect.

Super Mario Brothers

Are you a Mario or are you Luigi? Perhaps a Super Mushroom or even Bowser? Well, the boys can certainly decide for themselves but what’s really important is to make sure that the groom-to-be would be rocking at his stag do in a Princess Peach costume. This is non-negotiable.

Where’s Wally

The missuses may approve this seemingly innocent theme but beware as this will certainly get all the girls you encounter during the stag party squealing with delight. There’s no better time to ask the girls where is Willy? Of course, you had really meant Wally!

Breaking Bad

The great thing about having a Breaking Bad themed party is that there are so many memorable costumes that you can muster up from the show. You can go as regular Walter White in his shirt and tighty-whiteys or badass Heisenberg in his sunglasses and pork pie hat. If you’re feeling a tad fancier, put on the yellow Hazmat coveralls and a gas mask as a tribute to the cooking of Blue Sky. Lastly, mix some regular sugar with blue food colouring and voila, you got yourself a Breaking Bad prop!

Hands up, who’s got a crush on Smurfette? Fulfil your boyhood fantasies by going on a quest for Smurfette dressed up as those little blue humanoids. Or as the Smurfs would say, “Go smurfing for Smurfette”. I’d say smurftastic to that.

Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs

This is a no-brainer. Who’s going to be Snow White? The groom-to-be of course! And the rest of the boys? Well, take your pick from Bashful, Doc, Dopey, Happy, Sleepy, Sneezy and Grumpy.

Disney Princesses

Now we’re talking. Shock values? Humour? Fun? Why not dress as the Disney Princesses? I bet people are tired of seeing hen group after hen group dominating the princess arena, it’s time for a change. You may not want to admit it, but even men want to be treated like princesses sometimes.

Here’s to a fantastic stag costume party!
