Stag Party Thrown off Ryanair Flight

Today, a Ryanair flight had to make an unscheduled landing because of a drunken stag party.
What the heck?
The stag party had had a drunken dispute which broke out into insults and fists being thrown. Apparently the group grew increasingly irate as airline staff refused to serve them more alcohol and ended up fighting security staff 35,000 feet in the air. Other passengers even tried to calm the men down, but to no avail. Instead the behaviour worsened – one stag even stripped completely naked.
They were travelling to Bratislava but the flight had to take a detour and stop in Berlin because of the threatening violence. Six of the stag party members were ejected from the plane at Berlin and arrested. Those arrested each face fines of up to £20,000 for the flight’s detour and unscheduled landing.
The groom-to-be claimed he had no involvement in the brawl, and that it was two friends that started the huge fallout. He told The Daily Mail,
“I was not involved at all.
“I made it to Bratislava and I got back last night, because, like I said, I wasn’t involved.
“It was two people, and it was bad behaviour and that’s all – I was not involved.”
…Guess he wasn’t involved then.
According to other passengers the men were unable to even walk properly before they even boarded the plane at Luton. Perhaps they should never have been allowed on?
Nevertheless it’s sad that such a special occasion had to turn into something sour.
This should not happen. These guys need to learn how to handle their alcohol and perhaps next time, keep it local.
