The Printworks Restaurant Guide

Where to grab a bite to eat in Manchester's popular Printworks complex 

The Printworks is full of a wide variety of restaurants that are perfect for stag and hen parties wanting to grab something to eat whilst out.

There are currently nine restaurants to choose from, so read on to see which tickles your taste buds!


Cuisine: Mexican

Cost: approx. £5 to £6 for starters and £11 – £15 for mains

Bring the fiesta party vibe to your meal out at this lively Latin-American restaurant bar. There are lots of tasty Mexican dishes to try and there are tasty Latino cocktails to wash them down with (or beer and wine if that’s your preference!).

Delicious dishes include southern fried chicken with pulled pork, chimichanga, “street style” burrito and spicy fiery chicken. Yum!

They also have a specials menu where the starters are just £5 and the mains £10. Not bad for if you want to save some more money for the drinks kitty!


Chiquitos Menus


Cuisine: American big eats

Cost: approx £25 to £30pp for 3 courses

This rock-inspired restaurant needs no introduction. If you are looking for a  decent American style big eat then this restaurant in The Printworks is a must. All served up with a dollop of rock memorabilia to add to the atmosphere.

Cuisine: salads and grills

Cost: approx £3 to £6 for starters and

If some of you want a large feast whilst others believe that eating is cheating, then Harvester is worth a visit, which serves up salads and chicken, ribs or combi grills.

If you want an affordable lunch, this restaurant should definitely be on your radar as they offer pub food classics like scampi and chops, fish finger baps and sausage and mash for around £5 to £6 per dish, all day every day.

Cuisine: Peri-Peri chicken

Cost:approx £7 to £14 for chicken with sides, depending on how hungry you are!

As if anyone needs to be asked if they fancy a cheeky Nandos! You know the drill: the most delicious grilled chicken, spiced to your liking, with lots of tasty sides to choose from. This restaurant is perfect for stag and hen parties not wanting to make a meal out of eating before hitting The Printworks nightlife.

 Busaba Manchester meal

Busaba has set out to be a well-lobed Thai chain known for being a great place for socialising that balances quality value and traditional dishes. Its menu is inspired by modern Bangkok and developed in association with Michelin Star Chef David Thompson, known for his skills in Thai cuisine. 

The bar offers a range of Thai teas and juices, signature cocktails and beers from near and far, plus more.  


Cuisine: Greek

This Mediterranean bar and grill prides itself on its fresh food and is a great option for stags and hens looking for a lighter meal out that doesn’t compromise on taste.

Cuisine: worldwide live and fresh buffet

Price: lunch (up to 5.30pm Saturday and Sunday): £9.95pp

dinner (Friday and  Saturdays after 5.30pm) : £14.95pp

Think of a buffet restaurant and fresh doesn’t normally come to mind. Not here though. You pick the fresh ingredients from all over the world and chefs at cooking stations whip up a tasty and fresh meal with the flavours you fancy in minutes.

Cost: approx £5 to £6 for starters and £10 to £14 for mains

Prezzo sources its produce directly from Italy and providing authentic yet affordable Italian cuisines. For stag and hen parties Italian is always a pretty good shout – does anyone not like Italian?!

Tiger Tiger not only offers a one-stop venue for a good night out with its multiple bars, it also has an on-site restaurant which offers great value, tasty food and a menu with lots of choice.


Cuisine: Japanese noodle restaurant

Cost: approx £10-£14 for mains

Wagamama offers lots of tasty Pan-Asian noodle dishes in a hustle and bustle Japanese canteen style setting. If you’re looking for a quick but tasty bite to eat before heading onto the nightlife then this restaurant in The Printworks is a great shout (and those noodles are sure to soak up a bit of the booze!).

If you want to try the whole conveyor belt sushi style eating, then Wasabi Sushi offers tasty parcels of delight!
