The Comedy Store Manchester

Manchester's premier comedy night

If you love top-class comedy gigs then The Comedy Store Manchester is going to be right up your street. On Fridays and Saturdays this venue plays host to some of the best comedians whilst also priding itself on letting you in on some of the best up-and-coming talent they’ve discovered.

One of the most frequent requests we get is for a more chilled (but equally entertaining) Friday evening before all the stag and hen mayhem starts on the Saturday. Comedy evenings are a great way to break the ice and get everyone into a good mood for the weekend. What’s more, this comedy venue in Manchester is hen and stag friendly – it’s just up to you whether you choose to let that slip to the compere!

Star comedians who have graced The Comedy store

Michael McIntyre, Caroline Aherne, Peter Kay, Paddy McGuiness, Frankie Boyle, John Bishop, and Russell Howard

Yep, this place attracts some of the best comedians on the comedy circuit as well as discovering some of the best up-and-coming acts – after all, everyone loves to say they were there when someone was first discovered.

What’s On / Show Info

Every Fridays and Saturdays there are 7pm shows where you’ll be treated to five world-class comedians that’ll keep you laughing out loud for 2 hours. If that’s too early a start, then on Saturdays there’s a double helping with a 9.30pm show.

On the second and last Sundays of each month established acts try out their newest material so it’s a chance for you to have some input into their success (or failure!).

We even bet some Manchester stag parties may even be up for “King Gong” on the first Sunday of every month, where members of the public get the chance to try their comedy genius at the mercy of the crowd!

Location and local bars and transport

This comedy venue in Manchester is conveniently situated on Deansgate Locks, a stone’s throw from the Deansgate-Castlefield tram stop.

What’s more, all along the Deansgate Locks arches you’ll find plenty of bars where the young and glamorous crowd head. Even better, we can throw in some free Q-jump guest-list passes to a popular night-life venue on Deansgate Locks.

Or head up to Deansgate or along to Castlefield for the upmarket and slightly quieter bars in Manchester. Either way, this venue is perfectly located to carry on the night after the comedy evening.

Decor

In fitting with the upmarket feel of the Deansgate Locks area and the brand, you’ll find plush surroundings suited to the types of acts this venue attracts, which is why it is such a popular choice for those looking for the best in Manchester comedy evenings.

Drinks and Food

The Comedy Store Manchester is also well equipped with their Helter Skelter bar, where guests can get a few drinks to get into the spirit of things before the evening really starts, and a downstairs seating area for those who want to add some food to their evening.

If a Manchester comedy evening is what you’re after, we can certainly help! We can offer admission only, reserved seats and seats with meal options from £24.00 per person. Find out more about our comedy evening by clicking on the link for stags or hens here or call 0161 870 9677.
