A bit of advice...
See an idea you like in the Gallery above? Here’s a little more advice and choosing a hen party theme. Sometimes there can be more to consider than you bargained for. Will your party venue allow fancy dress? What age groups will be in your hen party? Sometimes its best to choose a theme that’s quite broad, meaning everyone can have their own fun with it and look amazing!
Sexy – If you’re looking to do something sexy without turning too many heads for the wrong reasons, add a touch of glamour or something classical to the look. Perhaps go as vintage pin-up girls, burlesque dancers or something cheeky like a gang of cheerleaders. These themes really are fun but bear in mind you may have to save some of them them for the evening! You could even book in a dance class to suit the theme e.g. burlesque dance classes & cheerleading.
Sophisticated – Hosting a glamourous hen party is one of our favourites at Stag and Hen. The dress code is simple, glamourous! For a touch of unity you could all wear a matching hair accessory or feather boas. Hosting a sophisticated weekend can be simple if you just sit back and imagine the luxuries, think: Spa Day, Wine Tasting, Champagne, A Luxury Apartment and VIP locations such as the Milton Club.
Ultra-Simple – For a really easy theme that’s easy for everyone for jump on board with, consider something as broad as a free-for-all Fancy Dress, Silly Hats or Colourful wigs. It sounds simple but trust us you’ll have a barrel of laughs when the relatives show up with pink hair and you can spend the whole day swapping looks. Hats and wigs also tend to be less “extreme” forms of fancy dress, so you can get into more venues during the day and pop them in your bag if necessary.
The Unexpected – Is your bride a bit of a comedian? And is your group not scared of a bit of attention? You and the girls could draw a lot of funny looks if you hit the town in the unexpected e.g. A group of cleaners, prisoners, nannies, teachers or even brides! You could even dress up as the real bride herself with matching wigs and custom masks to show how much you all love her!

Discover Manchester - We give you the inside scoop!
From humble beginnings Manchester has grown considerably to cement not only its position as the 3rd largest city in the UK but also as the unofficial “Capital of the North”. You will find an abundance of things to do and places to see within the city centre itself during the day as well as in the Greater Manchester Urban Area such as the Trafford Shopping Centre. Development is also continuing to bring further growth to what is already a cosmopolitan and lively place for fun.
Come the evening its “24 hour party people” have over 500 licenced premises in the city centre to choose from that can cope with up to 250,000 visitors at any one time and normally see around 130,000 revellers on a typical weekend night. So you can expect the normal friendly northern welcome.
All in all it has everything you will require for that Hen party that you will never forget!
